The Jito Foundation is an organization with the broad mandate to promote the adoption of Jito Network products, including JitoSOL, the largest DeFi protocol on Solana. About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Lead to take the reins of the Foundation’s rapidly-growing BD demands. This will be a high-visibility, high-impact role that will have you working daily with some of the top protocols in DeFi as well as many of the most influential institutions in the broader Crypto world.
As the Business Development Lead, you will take charge of maintaining our CRM pipeline and ensure all of our ecosystem partners receive white-glove service. You will be on the front lines of negotiations with protocols, investment entities, and institutions. The ideal candidate is as comfortable taking a virtual meeting with an anime avatar using a voice modulator as they are shaking hands with a high finance veteran. Working in tandem with other contributors, you will be given the mandate to develop strategies and pursue deals you believe could best service the Foundation’s vision. You will have significant freedom to assess opportunities, craft liquidity mining and incentive plans, and conduct competitive analysis.
You will be critical to the Jito Foundation’s success as we strive to push the boundaries of DeFi on Solana. You will have all the responsibility and autonomy that you have the ambition to seize and the competency to keep. The role is best suited for a zealot.
The position is fully remote, but will require a willingness to attend weekly EST meetings.

-Familiar with Solana or capable of developing chain-nativity
-Loves wearing multiple hats
What we are looking for
-Proven talent. Prior experience (2+ years) is preferred, but a portfolio of strong work is a must
-Ideally familiarity working with both protocol entities, such as Labs entities and DAOs, as well as traditional financial institutions
-Detail-obsessed. Capable of maintaining a growing rolodex and CRM pipeline and keeping multiple initiatives on track
-A steward of the Jito Network. A high-energy DeFi maven who will serve as an ambassador for our ideals
-Data-driven tactician. Capable of constructing a strategy, rationalizing a budget with clear KPIs and trackable metrics, and then delivering on their plan
